We are currently seeking a Welder to join our client based in Stockport. This role is a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

The right candidate will be capable of working on their own as well as with others manufacturing equipment for the pharmaceutical and clean room industry. We are looking for someone who has experience in TIG /MIG welding thin gauge materials such as aluminium extrusions / Zintec. (Tacking/Poole Welding) General fabrication experience operating mitre saws/ guillotines and punch presses/ spot welders must be able to read basic engineering drawing and must have at least 2 years’ experience.

Main duties will include

• Operation of extrusion aluminium mitre saw
• Operating general sheet metal equipment.
• Welding TIG /MIG welding/spot welding, grinding and linishing products to high standard.
• Operate and set up saw equipment to cut materials to specification
• Communicating directly with management to quickly resolve manufacturing issues
• Conducting pre-production checks of machinery and equipment
• Ensuring safe operation of machinery and processes using PPE provided
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Other general and reasonable duties as required

Working Hours:

• 7.30am to 4.30pm – Monday to Thursday.
• 7.30am to 12.30pm – Friday.

Additional Information:

• £13.00 per hour
• Free on-site parking.
• Weekly Pay.
• Temporary to Permanent position.
