Stores & FLT Operative – Stockport

Bennett Staff is currently recruiting Stores and FLT Operatives for ongoing work in Stockport and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for reliable and experienced candidates to support the busy warehouse and store departments. This role involves a mixture of forklift work, stock control and general warehouse duties within a fast-paced environment.

Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

Duties Include

• Operating Counterbalance FLT trucks safely
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Preparing stock for dispatch
• Checking goods in and out
• Updating stock systems and paperwork
• Assisting with stock control and warehouse organisation
• General stores and warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous stores or warehouse experience preferred
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Good attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Full UK driving licence beneficial for some roles
