Bennett staff are working with a well-established client based in Dukinfield, to recruit a Shot Blaster to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

Some duties include but are not limited to:

• Shot Blasting various parts and components.
• Stripping and removing old surface to prepare items ready for powder coating.
• Following job orders and instructions
• FLT / Overhead Crane experience would also be advantageous to move larger items. (Will received increased pay rate)
• Will be required wear appropriate P.P.E including a re-breather.
• Keeping workstations as tidy as possible throughout the day.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Shot Blaster
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to manage manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence (Advantageous)
• Overhead Crane Licence (Advantageous)

Hours

• 2.00pm to 11.00pm (Monday to Wednesday).
• 2.00pm to 10.30pm (Thursday).
• 2.00pm to 6.00pm (Friday).
• Total hours = 37.5hrs per week.

Pay Rates:

• £13.00p/h + 9% Shift allowance = £14.17p/h
• £13.50p/h + 9% Shift Allowance (With FLT Licence) = £14.71p/h
• £14.00p/h + 9% Shift Allowance (With FLT and Overhead Crane Licence) = £15.26p/h
