Bennett staff are working with a well-established client based in Dukinfield, to recruit a Shot Blaster to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

Some duties include but not limited to:

• Shot Blasting various parts and components.
• Stripping and removing old surface to prepare items ready for powder coating.
• Following job orders and instructions
• FLT / Overhead Crane experience would also be advantageous to move larger items. (Will received increased pay rate)
• Will be required wear appropriate P.P.E including a re-breather.
• Keeping workstations as tidy as possible throughout the day.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Shot Blaster
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to manage manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck License (Advantageous)
• Overhead Crane License (Advantageous)

• 2pm – 11pm Monday to Thursday / Friday 2pm – 6pm
• Temp to perm
• 12 weeks
• £12.80 per hour
