SALES DEVELOPER / TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT - Tameside (SDJN)
Our long established client requires a commercially minded, technically confident and great relationship builder to join their team. This is a varied role, and you will play an important part in delivering an excellent experience for our customers:
- Responding to customer enquiries and putting together accurate, commercially focused quotations.
- Managing sales orders and helping ensure customers receive a smooth and responsive service.
- Developing positive, long-term relationships with customers while spotting opportunities for new business.
- Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Fabrication, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance.
- Keeping pricing, customer details and internal systems accurate and up to date.
- Working in line with the company’s health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Their ideal candidate will be someone who combines strong customer service and communication skills with good commercial awareness. You’ll be comfortable working with different teams, managing customer requirements and maintaining attention to detail:
- Experience or knowledge of SAP
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- A strong customer-focused approach.
- Commercial awareness and confident communication skills.
- An understanding of mechanical technical support and CAD would be highly advantageous.
