PURCHASING ASSISTANT (A17244)
Our busy client based in Bredbury, Stockport require a Purchasing Assistant to assist in all areas of Purchasing and related administration. This is a permanent position.
Duties will include:
- Performing all Purchase duties and all related administration
- Taking purchase report from spreadsheet to assess needs
- Contacting suppliers to place orders
- Logging on to Suppliers site/send over PO.
- Sourcing new suppliers as/when necessary
- Selecting supplier based on best price/product availability/delivery times.
- Negotiating price/delivery if needed
- Answering phones
- Any general administration support required within the business.
Candidate will have:
- 2 years min experience in a similar role
- Good Excel skills
- Pegasus Opera experience preferred but not essential.
Working Hours:
- 8.00am to 4.45pm – Monday to Thursday,
- 8.00am to 2.00pm – Friday
- Salary – £28,000 to £30,000 p/a
