PURCHASE ORDER SUPPORT ASSISTANT (CMPOS)
Our client based in Dukinfield, Cheshire are looking to recruit a Purchase Order Support Administrator to start from January 2025 on an ongoing temporary basis.
As the Purchasing Order Support Administrator, you will be:
- Assist with the Purchase order administration of the Raw Materials: placements, confirmations & closing of orders
- Delivery booking and updating
- Being a liaison for internal and external customers on Purchase Ordering enquiries
- Purchase order administration for miscellaneous items (stationary, cleaning supplies, workwear etc.)
- Provide cover for the rest of the team when they are not in office
For this Purchasing role, we are looking for someone that is energetic, confident, and outgoing along with:
- Purchasing Order experience within a manufacturing background
- Confident telephone manner and able to converse with operators to directors.
- Able to work under pressure and manage busy periods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills in English – written and oral
Additional Information:
- Monday – Friday (9:00-17:00) 45 minutes lunch or 8:45 – 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch
- 36.25 hrs per week.
- Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour.
- Free On-Site Parking.
