Our client based in Ashton, are looking to recruit a Production Team Leader to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Main Purpose of the Job:

To lead the team in keeping up with production requirements, maintaining Quality, Health and Safety and Conduct standards in line with company policies.

Main Tasks or Accountabilities:

To drive and maintain SQCDP within the department.
To maintain production to the required rate as set by the Production Manager.
To maintain quality standards set by the Company.
To allocate labour within your team to meet department demands.
To train any new employees within the department up to acceptable standard.
To be literate and numerate.
To be well organized and a good communicator.
To be able to follow instructions in line with management instruction.
To have decision making ability.
Keep a high standard of housekeeping.
To be flexible within the Department.
To work to required production lead times.
Able to work alone and unsupervised as well as part of a team.
Adherence to health and safety policies.
Able to assist the Production Manager in the day to day running of the Department.
Able to deal appropriately with aspects of staffing issues.
To be able to liaise with senior Management.

Working Hours:

8.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.00am to 3.00pm (Friday)
Overtime available to be paid at Time + Half.
