CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR - After Sales (A16559)

One of our leading Tameside distributors / manufacturers are looking to recruit an additional Customer Service advisor to join their small but very busy after sales team.

Some duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Printing off emails from Customer care inbox and Customer Experience inbox
  • Checking if emails have already been logged on the in-house system
  • Liaising with customers and carriers via phone and email
  • Working closely with all departments Order input, tele-sales, credit control, warehouse, marketing, and sales people
  • Logging queries on the in-house computer systems (current and new)
  • Compiling letters and emails to send with the POD’s, delivery notes etc to customers
  • Adding details to spreadsheets for further analysis
  • Chase up queries in line with SLA’s as agreed
  • Filing, scanning, reception cover etc. as required

Person specification: 

  • At least 2 years office experience in a customer services role
  • Proficient on all Microsoft systems, Word / Excel
  • Good communication skills, in person and over the phone
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow Service Level Agreements
  • Proactive
  • Positive mindset
  • Organized
  • Ability to work well within a team setting
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to be calm and polite at all times
  • Friendly, approachable nature
  • Good interpersonal skills

The Package:

  • Salary:                   £22,600 pa
  • Bonus:                  £500pa time and attendance bonus
  • Hours:                   40 hours per week
  • 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunch on a Monday, 45 minutes Tues – Fri with a 3.00 pm early finish every other Friday.

Holidays:

  • 23 days plus bank holidays. Rising to 25 days after length of service
  • Shut down over Christmas period
