Our very well-established manufacturing client based in Adlington, Cheshire are looking to recruit a CNC / Manual Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis, plus they also have an opportunity for immediate starts on a long term temporary basis.

Duties include:

• Operation of a CNC Milling Machine.
• Working with FANUC or Siemen’s Controls
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings,
• Measure and mark out positions to be machined.
• Use a variety of machines including powered and non-powered hand tools.
• Check and inspect machined parts geometrically and visually to comply with quality standards according to the requirements stated on the engineering drawings.
• Support in other areas to facilitate the ability to meet customer needs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications / Experience Desired:

• Previous experience working in a health and safety conscious business
• Previous experience using pillar drills, tapping machines & de-burring machines
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Previous experience using engineering measuring equipment

Working Hours

• 8.00am to 4.30pm – Monday to Friday – 40hrs per week
• 33 days holidays including bank holidays

Pay Rates:

• £12.81 to £14.81 per hour – Pay rates will be assigned depending on your experience.
