PAYROLL ASSISTANT (A16743)
We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant / Sage Accounts Administrator to join one of our very busy Stockport Clients.
Some duties include but are not limited to:
- Processing pay scale and allowance up-lifts, changing as required
- Process all types of manual payroll calculations (wage increments, overtime, holiday pay etc)
- Payroll reconciliations and analysis
- Liaising with HMRC on complex matters
- Issuing bacs transfer to FD for all employee payments
- SMP, SSP etc
- Processing pension
- Processing supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Keeping up to date with any legislation changes
About the person – Skills required
- Must have good previous experience in payroll and accounts
- Extensive knowledge of PAYE/INC
- Must be confident to work off own initiative
- Excellent working knowledge of Sage 50 accounts
What else you need to know:
- Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5pm
- Company parking and kitchen facilities
- 25+ days holidays – holiday year runs from 1st April to 31st March
