Our expanding client currently have a great opportunity for an Assembly Fitter to join their team just based in Adlington/Macclesfield area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
• Ensure machinery is fully PDI’d and tested prior to delivery.
• Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
• Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working.
• High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
• Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
• Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
• On-site commissioning and customer training.

Experience:

• Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
• Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
• Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
• Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of equipment.
• General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
• Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.

Qualification:

• Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.

Shift Pattern/Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week.
• £12.26 – £17.26 PH Depending upon your skills and experience
