Bennett Staff are currently seeking a TIG / MIG Welder to join our client based in Ashton under Lyne, Tameside. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

MIG / TIG Welding on mild steel.
Fabricate, fit, tack and assemble parts to meet specifications.
Accurately measure, mark, and cut.
Read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
Use hand and powers tools (grinders, sanders, drills) to cleaner weld splatter and polish finished items.
Follow health and safety guidelines and wear required PPE and maintain a clean work area.

Working Hours:

8.00am to 4.30pm – Monday to Thursday
8.00am to 3.30pm – Friday
39hrs per week.
Starting at £16.29 per hour
