PIPE FITTER / WELDER - Ashton (PFCM)
We are currently recruiting a Pipe Fitter / Welder (MMA) to join our client based in Ashton under Lyne, Tameside. The ideal candidate will have experience in MMA Stick welding and pipe fabrication, with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- MMA stick welding (Experience preferred)
- Fabricate & weld pipework, as per drawing specification and to LPC standards.
- Accurate measuring of pipework
- Cutting & grooving of pipework
- Use of plasma burner & grinder
- Process weekly daily maintenance check sheets.
- Comply with company policies & procedures.
Skills:
- Experienced MMA stick welder
- Good working knowledge of pipe fabrication
- Able work autonomously when welding as per job sheet.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
Working Hours:
- 7.45am to 4.30pm – Monday to Thursday
- 7.45am to 1.45pm – Friday
- 39hrs per week.
- Starting at £16 Per Hour (Pay Rate Negotiable)
