Due to increased business and growth, our Glossop based client is looking to recruit a Stores Person.  This role is to start ASAP and will be a Temporary to Permanent position.

Duties include:

• Organizing and maintaining stores to ensure correct parts can be accurately identified and issued
• Accurately recording and storing items from internal and external sources
• Controlling issue of components to ensure accurate stock is maintained
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records on ERP system
• Checking and closing off works orders
• Assisting with packing and dispatch of completed orders

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working in an engineering stores role
• Ability to understand and learn technical information
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skill
• Competent with computer systems
• Able to work on own initiative
• Problem solver
• Team worker, willing to help out in other areas as required

Additional Information:

• £12.60 per hour.
• 40 hours per week (7.00am to 4.00pm – Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1.00pm – Friday)
• Free on site parking.
• 12 week temporary to permanent.
• 25 days plust Bank Holidays (Once Permanent)
• Optional Overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
