Our client based in Hadfield; Glossop are looking to recruit for a Wood Machinist/Operative to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent Basis.

Duties include:

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company specifications.
To work efficiently and safely
Using machinery, i.e. Dimension Saw, Mitre Saw, Spindle Moulders, Dovetailers, Tenoners, CNC’s etc.
Preparing components to achieve the high standard of finish required
Working to achieve set daily/weekly output targets.
Moving of stock with the use of pallet truck
Reporting any issues / defects to senior staff
Previous wood working or joinery experience advantageous but not essential.
A good knowledge of and the ability to use hand/power tools common to furniture manufacturing.
Able to produce furniture components from written instructions along with manufacturing drawings.

Working Hours:

7.30am to 4.30pm – (Monday to Thursday) and 7.30am to 1.30pm (Friday)
40 hours per week.

Additional Information:

12 – Week Temporary to Permanent positions.
On site Parking
Pay Rate is from £12.71 per hour.
