SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR - OLDHAM (SRKM)

We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-time School Administrator to support a primary school, based in Oldham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, assisting with data entry, and providing excellent communication to staff, students, and parents. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our educational environment while developing valuable administrative skills. This is an immediate start
Some duties include but are not limited to:
Must have SIMS EXPERIENCE and an Enhanced DBS
  • Answering phone calls with professional etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Managing student and staff records through accurate data entry and maintenance
  • Organizing schedules, appointments, and meetings for school staff and administration
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Handling incoming emails and correspondence efficiently
  • Maintaining organized filing systems both digitally and physically
  • Providing general clerical support such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Assisting with school event organization and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Proven office experience or administrative background within an educational setting
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good typing speed and accuracy for document preparation and data management
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Hours Monday to Friday 8.30 – 12.30pm
£13.50 per hour + weekly pay + holiday pay
