MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Stockport (MTJN)

Our small but very established Facilities Management client require a Maintenance Technician to ensure the general up-keep and safety of commercial properties.

Duties will include:

• Testing fire alarms
• Checking emergency lighting
• Checking tap water temperatures
• Hanging and mounting as needed
• General repairs as needed
• Minor plumbing – fixing leaky taps, unblocking drains etc
• Basic electrical – replacing light bulbs/light switches etc

You will have good DIY type skills and be able to use a tape measure and drill. You will have a keen eye for detail to spot any necessary repairs that are needed. General knowledge of basic plumbing is essential. Driving licence also essential.

You will be based at HO in Stockport, and you will be required to travel to properties in the North West – Leeds being the furthers.

Hours vary slightly – 3 x 9 hour days per week, plus an additional day 2 weeks per month.

The successful candidate will have a great work ethic and will be ultra reliable and attentive, be a self-starter and will take pride in their work. Previous similar experience is preferable.
