Our client require an Electrical Fitter/Wirer, ranging from 415v through to 33kV, to work on electrical projects on various sites. Working closely with other project members including design managers and an electrical fitting team, you will be responsible for installation of equipment and systems. Experience of working with circuit breakers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of switchgear up to 33kV
• Installation of trays and trunking systems
• Installation and termination if multi-core cables (Ferrule identification and crimping cores)
• Following cable block diagrams, cable schedules and termination schedules
• Mounting and installing components
• Carrying our installations in line with design, adhering to legislations
• Completing documentation
• Escalating and reporting issues to site manager
• Working to package plans, method statements and risk assessments

Experience and requirements

• Previous experience essential
• Ability to read from diagrams
• Ability to read Schematic drawings (basic)
• CSCS
• First aid certified
• Qualifications in electrical subject (min 2)
• Awareness of Electricity at Work Regs
• CITB/CCNSG safety passport card
• IPAF
• PASMA
• The desire to train further and develop within the company

• Hours for the role will vary depending on project. Flexibility to work up 12 hour shift when needed.
