DESIGN & PROJECT ENGINEER - Bredbury (PEJN)
Well established global company require a Design and Project Engineer to join their team in managing projects from concept through to completion working in the food industry. The main purpose of this role is to design machinery and plan plant layouts for our clients milling clients. You will work closely with sales and technical project teams to deliver tailor-made solutions to meet their clients specifications:
- Develop comprehensive equipment and plant designs using AutoCAD 2D & 3D, working in the food or material handling sector;
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand customer needs and translate them into the required project specifications;
- Attend sites in UK and overseas to survey and plan plant
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications;
- Project and cost control;
- Provide support during installation and commissioning phases;
- Ensure compliance with relevant industrial and food safety standards and health & safety regulations.
The successful candidate will have a degree, HND or equivalent in Engineering and be an experienced Project Manager in the food sector. A full driving licence is also essential.
