The salary on this role is negotiable depending upon your skills and experience.

Key aspects of the role: 

• Responsible for the following workstations – Pocket router, V’ing frames, Collating, Partitions, Glass doors, Drawer boxes and Edge banding.
• To ensure the correct level of quality is achieved…
• To maintain safety throughout the team’s area, working with H&S officer where necessary.
• Training new team members and provide refresher training where required.
• To ensure a clean, safe & tidy environment.
• To ensure all processes are followed to achieve a smooth consistent production flow though the factory.
• To ensure all workstations hit daily/weekly targets, rotating staff when necessary to aid a consistent production flow.
• Able to lead by example.

Person Specification details: 

• Good organizational skills.
• Must have exemplary time keeping and attendance record.
• Must have exemplary PPE conformance record.
• Competent personnel management skills.
• A sound knowledge of good H&S practice.
• Must have an ability to work with and improve weaker team members.
• Good communicator

KPI’s 

• Hitting targets (Daily / Weekly)
• Ability to work with colleagues.
• Manage workload and able to prioritize.
• Communicate well with all departments.
• Work flow.

Hours 

• 7.30 – 4.30 with an earlier finish on Friday
• Onsite parking, canteen
