STOCK CONTROL OPERATIVE FLT DRIVER - Stockport (SOFLTCM)
Our client based in Stockport; Cheshire are looking to recruit for a Stock Control Operative / FLT Driver on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To ensure the efficient flow, accuracy, and control of materials and finished goods within the warehouse by receiving, recording, storing, issuing, and dispatching stock, supporting smooth production operations and timely customer deliveries while maintaining an organised and accurate inventory and high housekeeping standard.
MAIN TASKS:
- Receive, count and check all deliveries against packing note. Put items away in defined location, scan delivery note, book into SAGE with an attachment.
- Pick components against work order picking lists for production orders.
- SAGE – WO processing – allocate picked work orders.
- Replenishment / issuing stock to WIP stores
- Organise the preparation of finished goods for despatch, checking packing quality, liaising with office to complete despatch paperwork/labelling. Load to transport.
- Control of minimum stocks in VSU / stores, requesting replacement orders for shortages
- Carry out PI counting.
- Ongoing housekeeping disposing of waste materials and packaging.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping, organising all storage areas including responsibility for rear yard and mezzanine floor.
Person Profile
- Health and Safety conscious
- Good organisational skills
- Computer Literate, SAGE, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams
- Diligent with good attention to detail
- Fork-lift truck license – Counterbalance.
- Experience with use of ERP system (SAGE)
Working Hours:
- 7.30am to 3.30pm – Monday to Friday
- 2 x 15-minute breaks and 30 minutes unpaid lunch
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour.
