TRADE COUNTER ASSISTANT - Stockport (TCAJN)
Our client is seeking a friendly and organised Ventilation Trade Counter Assistant to join their established team. This role involves providing excellent customer service whilst building lasting relationships with new and existing customers. You will be assisting with product merchandising, and supporting daily operations at our trade counter, offering product advice when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a proactive attitude. Trade Counter experience is essential, and ventilation experience is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers courteously and assist them with their enquiries at the trade counter
- Managing incoming sales via phone and email
- Provide product information, advice, and recommendations tailored to customer needs
- Handle sales transactions accurately
- Manage stock levels in the warehouse
- Liaise with suppliers
- Communicate clearly with customers via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist in processing deliveries
- Support organisational tasks such as inventory checks and record keeping
- Raise invoices and purchase orders
What else you need to know:
- Fantastic, well-established company and a varied, fast-paced, Monday to Friday role!
- Driving licence is preferable.
- 22 days hols plus stats
- Monday to Friday, with an early finish Fridays and no weekends!
