MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - Failsworth (MAJN)
We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Management Accountant on behalf of our very established engineering company, based in Greater Manchester. You will support the Financial Controller and duties include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts pack with analysis and commentary
- Completion of the Month End Procedure
- Costs and variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly revenue recognition analysis
- Monthly Cashflow analysis
- Cash book reconciliation
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Support annual audits
- Project margin analysis
- Supporting completion of project ‘Cost to Complete’ spreadsheets
- Stock Analysis
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Budgeting
- Project closure
- Payroll cover (Weekly & Monthly)
- Day to day overseeing of accounts processes
- Maintain own workload and the ability to meet deadlines
What else you need to know:
- The ability to confidently and professionally liaise with individuals on the telephone, via email and face to face
- A keen eye for detail and precision
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Must be happy to be hands-on with a mix of transactional, reporting and analytical work.
- You will be qualified to ACCA or CIMA and have knowledge of ERP systems.
- 36 per week, with one day work from home after 3 months completed.
- 25 days hols + stats.
- £50,000 pa.
