ASSISTANT STORES MANAGER - Tameside (ASMKM)
Our well-established client based in Dukinfield; Tameside are looking to recruit for an Assistant Stroes Manager to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
Duties include:
- Organise the flow of work through the stores.
- Supervise stores staff and delegate tasks.
- Liaise with the Sales Office for Despatch documentation.
- Final inspection prior to despatch (check label, count boxes against despatch note, final dimensional check against documentation)
- Liaising with QA to establish product marking requirements
- Booking parcel couriers and advising the Sales Office of any Haulage requirements
- Operating company ERP System (Full training to be provided)
- Picking and Packing
- Product marking using the dot peen marker.
- Receiving deliveries
- Driving Counterbalance FLT
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
- Willing to perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Management Team
Requirements
- Previous Warehouse managerial experience
- A Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
- Must be Computer Literate
- Good understanding of English and Math’s
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail.
Working hours:
- 8.00am to 4.30pm = 40hrs per week – Monday to Friday
- Company parking
