We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic finance team. on an ongoing temporary contract, In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions and maintaining financial records. Your enthusiasm for numbers and commitment to excellence will help streamline the accounting functions, contributing to the overall success
Some duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements, providing clear insights into financial performance
- reconcile accounts, and maintain data integrity
- Assisting with month end
- Credit control
- Assisting with audits
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve financial queries promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance-related fields
- Familiarity with financial management systems
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze numerical data accurately
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey financial information and collaborate across departments
- Ability to perform alone or within a team
- Computer literate

- Tameside based
- Full time hours Monday to Friday 8 – 5 pm
