MANUAL MACHINIST (P2401)

£12.81 to £12.81 PH Temporary

We are looking to recruit an experienced manual Machinist for one of our clients based in Cheshire.

Some duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Operation of a CNC Milling Machine.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings,
  • Measure and mark out positions to be machined.
  • Use a variety of machines including powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Check and inspect machined parts geometrically and visually to comply with quality standards according to the requirements stated on the engineering drawings.
  • Support in other areas to facilitate the ability to meet customer needs.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications / Experience Desired:

  • Previous experience working in a health and safety conscious business
  • Previous experience using pillar drills, tapping machines & de-burring machines
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Previous experience using engineering measuring equipment

What else you need to know:

  • Pay: £12.81 per hour
  • 8.00am to 4.30pm – Monday to Friday – 40hrs per week
  • canteen facilities and company parking on site
