FINANCE ASSISTANT (A17283)

Tameside
£25000 to £29000 PA Permanent

We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant for our Tameside client. This role is to commence October and possibly until February 2025.

Some duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Collating information and creating finance reports for profit and loss details
  • Keeping monthly balance sheet journals up to date
  • Preparing sales reports
  • Calculating commission
  • Cashbook and all related duties
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Reconciliations
  • Foreign currency control
  • Posting journals

Skills required:

  • Excel
  • Communication
  • Analytic
  • Previous finance experience
  • AAT qualified or working towards AAT

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Accurate, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of sales and expenditure analysis.
  • Strong teamwork ethic.
  • Experience of working in a finance department.
  • Experience of working with allocating concepts i.e., accruals and prepayments.
