One of our well established Stockport firms are looking to recruit an experienced Logistics manager. You will ultimately be responsible for overseeing logistics and supply chain management, import and export of hazardous chemicals, and ensuring efficient logistics operations on a daily basis.

Some duties include but not limited to: 

• Liaising with customer to arrange delivery dates and needs etc
• Supply chain management
• Expert in Road, Sea and Air freights
• Import and Export of Hazardous Chemicals
• Problem solving
• Communication
• Good IT/office skills – Sage 200

What else you need to know: 

• Working within a fast paced environment.
• The business continues to grow on a daily basis, with the team having over 100 years experience.
• The hours are full time Monday to Friday (40 hours)
• You will have passion and vision to take the company forward with the existing team.
• There is parking on site, with local amenities around
• 20 days holiday plus 8 stats and your birthday off
• Plus all statutory benefits
• £29,500 – £35,000 depending upon your experience and skills
