PURCHASING CO-ORDINATOR (A17244)

£28000 to £30000 PA Permanent

One of our well established clients based in Stockport are looking to recruit and experience Purchasing Co-ordinator.

Some duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Carrying out all Purchase duties and all related administration
  • Taking purchase report from spreadsheet to assess needs
  • Contacting suppliers to place orders
  • Logging on to Suppliers site/send over PO
  • Sourcing new suppliers as/when necessary
  • Selecting supplier based on best price/product availability/delivery times
  • Negotiating price/delivery if needed
  • Answering phones
  • Any general administration support required within the business

Candidate requirements: 

  • 2 years min experience in a similar role
  • Good Excel skills
  • Pegasus Opera experience pref (not essential)

What else you need to know: 

  • Full time hours Monday to Thursday 8-4.45pm Friday 2pm finish
  • £28,000 – £30,000
  • 20 days holidays plus stats
  • Our client has a car park and canteen
