Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on professional to assist our partners and managers. You will work within budget, manage client expectations, and help prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Preparation: Draft financial statements and tax returns (VAT, corporation, and personal tax).
- Workflow Management: Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure deadlines are met.
- Client Relations: Manage expectations and provide excellent communication.
- Budget Tracking: Work efficiently within designated budgets and control shortfalls. [1, 2, 3]
Candidate Requirements
- Education & Experience: Part-qualified (AAT or ACCA) with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a UK accounting practice (or equivalent time-served).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in mainstream accounting software.
- Soft Skills: Strong supervisory, organizational, and delegation skills with the ability to prioritize your own workload.
