We have an opening for an experienced Purchase Ledger team member, who will be responsible for the day-to-day running of medium-sized purchase ledgers with full ownership of the ledgers required.

The Successful candidate will preferably be AAT-qualified

• Must have end-to-end Purchase Ledger experience in a Finance/Accounts Team
• Must have good attention to detail.
• You must be able to organise and prioritise your workload.
• Must show initiative and flexibility.
• Bank reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
• Working knowledge of Sage Accounts
• Proficient in Excel

Outline of the Job:

• Full ownership of multiple purchase ledgers for distinct, including:
• Maintenance of Supplier Records on Sage Line 50
• Matching invoices to open POs where appropriate
• Identification and resolution of supplier queries
• Completion of monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Generation of monthly and bi-weekly payment runs and processing on Barclays
• Preparation of prepayments and accruals through standardised reports.
• Adhoc finance tasks
