We are currently seeking a Pipe Fitter / Welder to join one of our clients based in Ashton under Lyne, Tameside. The ideal candidate will have experience in MMA Stick welding and fabrication, with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

MMA stick welding
Fabricate & weld pipework, as per drawing specification and to LPC standards.
Accurate measuring of pipework
Cutting & grooving of pipework
Use of plasma burner & grinder
Process weekly daily maintenance check sheets.
Comply with company policies & procedures.

Skills:

Experienced MMA welder
Good working knowledge of pipe fabrication
Able to work autonomously when welding as per job sheet.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational & time management skills

Working Hours:

7.45 am to 4.30 pm – Monday to Thursday
7.45 am to 1.45 pm – Friday
39 hrs per week.
Overtime available on Friday mornings

Additional Information:

£15.00 per hour
