GOODS IN WAREHOUSE OP - Dukinfield (GIWO)
Bennett Staff are looking to recruit a Goods in / Warehouse Operative for our well-established client based in Dukinfield, Cheshire. This role will be on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Goods in / Warehouse Op will be responsible to check all goods are unloaded at Goods Inwards and the due process followed within the Goods-in area. This includes the checking of the packaging and processing all documentation in connection with the goods.
Duties include:
- To receive, inspect and record goods inwards.
- Verify stock received to supplier documentation, to ensure accuracy of goods and paperwork.
- Process stock in a logical order based on when it is received.
- Sign for deliveries ensuring accuracy of information.
- Check deliveries for any noticeable transit damage and ensure any damage is noted on delivery paperwork prior to signing.
- Ensure correct stock quantities received reconciles to supplier paperwork and quantity entered into inventory system.
- Adhere to the Company’s Management System (ISO9001) and (ISO13485), Environmental Policy (ISO14001), and Health & Safety Policy & Security Policy.
- Sending, receiving & sorting
- Keeping both sections (despatch & stores) tidy
- To ensure goods outwards are safely dispatched with all relevant paperwork.
- Verify control of shipments, invoices and despatch notes with Customer Service team.
- Working to company standards as written in the QA Manual
- Working to Company Health and Safety Requirements and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Identifying daily priorities with Customer Service team.
Working Hours:
- 8.00am to 5.00pm – Monday to Thursday
- 8.00am to 3.00pm – Friday
- 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate:
- £12.78 per hour, weekly pay plus HP whilst temp
