FLEXO PRESS OPERATOR - Tameside (FPOJN)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexo Press Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor flexo printing presses to produce printed materials according to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of printing equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Adjust press settings to ensure colour accuracy, registration, and print quality meet quality standards.
- Perform maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools to keep machinery in optimal condition.
- Assist with fabricating parts or components as needed for press operation or repairs.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or production area.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Previous flexo press experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures or logistics can be beneficial for understanding workflow and material handling processes.
