We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our clients busy and expanding manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimising CNC programs for sliding head CNC machining processes (Star, with Fanuc controls), ensuring precision and efficiency in production.

Duties

Working with Sliding Head CNC machines , Star with Fanuc controls
Working with Fixed Head turning machines
Set up and operate CNC machines, including Fanuc controls, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are used.
Set, operate and program CNC lathes
Work from drawings to produce high-quality components in metals and plastics
Carry out in-process inspections

You will have experience with sliding head CNC lathes, preferably Star, with Fanuc controls, and a good working knowledge of fixed head turning (experience of Doosan would be very advantageous). You will read technical drawing with ease and have the ability to work to tight tolerances.

The hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm Friday.
