PRODUCTION OPERATIVES - High Peak (POJN)
Our High Peak based manufacturing client require 3 Production Operatives to work on rotating shift patterns, 42.5 hours per week working Monday to Thursday. This is a busy role involving some quite heavy lifting, so candidates will need to be reliable and physically fit.
Duties will include:
- Setting up machinery to correct specifications
- Handling raw materials – measuring and mixing polymer and pigments, loading into hopper (lifting to 25k)
- Quality controlling and recording findings
- Carrying out extrusion processes
- Packing finished products
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
- Using FLT to move goods around site (training can be given)
The ideal candidates will have previously worked in a production role and have a keen eye for details. You will be computer literate and preferably have some FLT experience. Team-player attitude is essential.
Hours are:
Week 1
Monday 9.10 am to 6.30 pm; Tues, Wed 6.10am to 6.10pm; Thurs 6.10am to 5.20pm
Week 2
Mon, Tues, Wed 6.10pm to 6.10 pm; Thurs 5.10pm to 9pm
