SHOT BLASTER - Dukinfield (SBCM)
We are working with a well-established client based in Dukinfield, to recruit a Shot Blaster to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.
Some duties include but not limited to:
- Shot Blasting various parts and components.
- Stripping and removing old surface to prepare items ready for powder coating and painting.
- Following job orders and instructions
- FLT / Overhead Crane experience would also be advantageous to move larger items. (Will received increased pay rate)
- Will be required wear appropriate P.P.E including a re-breather.
- Keeping workstations as tidy as possible throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shot Blaster
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to manage manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (Advantageous)
- Overhead Crane Licence (Advantageous)
PPE Provided:
- Blaster helmet
- Gloves
- Overalls
- Hi-Viz vest
- Safety boots
Hours
- 6.00am to 2.00pm – Monday to Friday.
- Total hours = 37.5hrs per week.
Pay Rates:
- £14.00 p/h – Without either Counterbalance or Overhead Crane Licence
- £14.50 p/h – Must have either Counterbalance or Overhead Crane Licence
- £15.00 p/h – Must have both Counterbalance and Overhead Crane Licence.
