We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join a small family run Business. This vital role involves managing a wide range of tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organisational skills and a passion for financial accuracy.

Some duties including but are not limited:

Sage Accounts
Input and process supplier purchase invoices for weekly BACS run.
Prepare and process sales invoices and customer receipts for rent and utilities.
Bank reconciliation for multiple bank accounts.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
Updating by hand manual ledger books for our Director (he does not use a computer) – neat handwriting is essential.
General Admin including answering telephone, greeting occasional visitors and dealing with tenant queries, sending and receiving emails, a small amount of document preparation using MS Word
Supporting Director in day-to-day office tasks. emails, meetings, appointments, etc.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Skills and what else you need to know:

Basic Excel – calculating tenant recharge invoices for electricity using Excel spreadsheet, raising and sending customer invoice.
Credit Control – raising customer statements (via Sage) and chasing outstanding payments via email/telephone when necessary.
Salary £13.50ph – Mon, Tue, Thurs & Friday, 10-2/3pm
