Our well-established Engineering client based in Openshaw; Manchester are looking to recruit two Deburrer / Finishing Operatives to start ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis.
Some duties include:
- Use hand tools to deburr, grind and finish metal parts to meet quality standards.
- Working with sheet metal components, removing imperfections and sharp edges.
- Hand finishing and operation of finishing machine.
- Operation of belt sanders, bench grinders, vibrating polishers and deburring machines
- completion of any relevant paperwork will be required.
- Pack and palletise of completed products.
- Some heavy lifting required.
- Having a Counterbalance FLT would be advantageous.
Working Hours:
- 2-week rotating shift basis.
- 6.00am to 2.00pm – Monday to Friday
- 2.00pm to 10.00pm – Monday to Friday
- Overtime available.
- 37.5 hrs per week.
