FLT DRIVER / LABOURER - Glossop (FLTCM)
Our client based in Hadfield; Glossop are looking to recruit for a Forklift Truck Driver/Labourer to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent Basis.
Duties include:
- Unload wagons of timber/boards etc and bring into the factory and organize, put on racks.
- Assemble “rainbow stacks” for our CNC machines, this is MDF boards, and load onto the machines.
- Taking wood skips from the factory out into our recycling yard and emptying into a larger skip
- Taking waste MDF boards out of the factory and into our recycling yard
- Working with the yardman to keep the recycling yard clean and tidy
- Reports to Machine Shop Supervisor
Working Hours:
- 7.30am to 4.30pm – (Monday to Thursday) and 7.30am to 1.30pm (Friday)
Additional Information:
- 12 – Week Temporary to Permanent positions.
- On site Parking
- Pay Rate is from £12.21 per hour – increasing to £12.71 per hour from April 2026
