Our well-established Engineering client based in Openshaw; Manchester is looking to recruit for a Deburrer / Finishing Operative to start ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis.

Duties include:

Use hand tools to deburr, grind and finish metal parts to meet quality standards.
Working with sheet metal components, removing imperfections and sharp edges.
Hand finishing and operation of finishing machine.
Operation of belt sanders, bench grinders, vibrating polishers and deburring machines
completion of any relevant paperwork will be required.
Pack and palletize of completed products.
Some heavy lifting required.
Having a Counterbalance FLT would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

2-week rotating shift basis.
6.00 am to 2.00 pm – Monday to Friday
2.00 pm to 10.00 pm – Monday to Friday
Other time available.
37.5 hrs per week.

Pay Rate:

Starting at £12.50 per hour, then increasing to £13.13 per hour after 12 weeks.
