We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Operative to join a busy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of building systems and equipment to ensure the smooth operations. This role requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, The Facilities Operative will play a key role in supporting manufacturing processes, residential painting projects, and overall site safety and functionality.

Duties

Ensure property is Maintained in line with the business requirements.
Comply with health and safety requirements.
Maintain and ensure the sites are kept presentable for suppliers and visitors.
Work with the warehouse management team to identify and rectify highlighted issues.
Conduct PPM tasks – Weekly / Monthly
Conduct emergency maintenance tasks ( Sometimes out of hours )
Respond to reported issues with 24 hours.

Job Skills

Great communication and listening skills.
Adaptable and flexible to the needs of the business
Computer Literate – Excel outlook Word.
Full Driving license. Is essential
Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical Hydraulic systems.
Able to lift and shift

What else you need to know:

Hours – Rotating shifts
Week one 6 am – 2.30 pm Monday to Friday
Week two 10 am – 7 pm Monday to Thursday 10 am – 2.30 pm Friday
Salary £14.14 Per hour
