Bennett Staff are looking to recruit a Nights Warehouse Operative / Pivot Steer (Bendi) FLT Driver for our Hadfield, Glossop based distribution client on an ongoing temporary basis.

Immediate starts available, plus longer-term contracts could be available for the best candidates.

Key duties of the role will entail:

Order Picking: You will need to be able to read items numbers/product codes and item locations from pick sheets. Picking products from shoulder height to be loaded on your pump truck (Some products will require two people to move but will be labelled accordingly), once items have been picked, you will be required to scan each item via the in-house system. So, some previous computer experience is essential, each pallet will be film wrapped but training will be provided on-site.

Goods In: Unloading containers, counting each item to correspond to the order sheets provided and use of pallet trucks (manual and electric) to move up to two high post pallet stillage around the warehouse.

FLT: Operating a Pivot Steer (Bendi) Forklift Truck to move, load and unload goods, working in narrow aisles and high racking

General Duties: You will be required to make up and assembly large cardboard boxes for packaging of the products (you will be required to use an industrial staple gun. Any associated safety equipment will be provided by the client)

Pay Rate:

£13.21 plus 15% shift allowance = £15.19 per hour – Night Shift.

Working hours: Night Shift

Night Shift Pattern

10.00pm to 6.30am – Sunday to Thursday night.
37.5 hours per week.
