Bennett Staff are currently looking to Recruit a Mig Welder / Fabricator for our client based in Hyde, Cheshire, this role will be on a temporary to permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication / Mig welding with a keen eye for detail.

This role involves working with various materials, primarily RJS, Angles and 6-20mm steel plates to create high-quality components. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Duties

Fabricate components using detailed specifications.
Assemble parts and structures using welding techniques, including MIG welding.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete fabrication tasks.
Perform basic maths calculations to ensure accuracy in measurements and dimensions.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, particularly with structural steel.
Strong knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
Proficiency in welding techniques, especially MIG welding, is essential.
Familiarity with operating various power tools and hand tools used in the fabrication process.

Basic math’s skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Working Hours:

9.00am to 5.00pm – Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate:

From £14.50 per hour to £15.83 per hour (Depending on Experience).

Additional Information:

12 – Week Temporary to Permanent positions.
On site Parking
