QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER (A16494)

£35000 to £35000 PA Permanent

One of our expanding Tameside clients are looking to recruit an Experienced Quality and Environmental Manager.

Some duties include but not limited to: 

  • On going review of existing procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Designing and implementing new procedures and standards.
  • Maintaining and updating the databases required for Authorities such as Construction line, Chas, FSC etc.
  • Updating relevant company policies in line with the standards.
  • Maintaining documentation to latest levels and with procedural changes
  • Liaising with and vetting external suppliers to ensure they meet all relevant standards.
  • Working closely with production departments and reviewing procedures to ensure quality standards are met and occurrences of variances are analyzed
  • Producing reports on agreed KPIs and establish new ones to analyzed and improve performance
  • Assisting in devising strategies to meet targets and encourage best practice.

What else you need to know: 

  • 40 hours per week
  • 20 days holidays plus stats, plus option to buy more holidays
  • Canteen facilities and parking
  • £35,000 plus pension and healthcare
