Leading manufacturer and distributor based in Stockport are looking to recruit an experience Coordinator

Some duties include but not limited to: 

General: Part of a team of four, working in our busy internal sales office, processing and dealing with orders for our Parts Department.

Quote processing:

  • Assisting/ Advising with telephone and email enquiries from customers in a polite and professional manner.
  • Product knowledge not essential – training will be given.
  • Dealing with e mail and phone queries, getting back to customers in a timely manner.

Order processing:

  • Check customer’s credit standing in Pegasus Opera and alert Accounts Department if necessary.
  • Check the customer’s order corresponds with our quotation.
  • Check we can comply with customer’s delivery requirements, if the customer has not specified a date schedule in line with latest information from Production.
  • Enter orders in Opera via Pro-Forma if necessary.
  • Send order acknowledgment to customers by e-mail.
  • Produce appropriate delivery notes / Carrier paper work ready for despatch.
  • Daily delivery planning.
  • Input orders into APC, for our daily dispatch of orders.
  • Progressing orders from order to delivery, & delivery to invoice as they pass through the stages.


Deal with queries customers may have, change of delivery addresses, etc, liaise with Transport and Production.

  • Liaise between Transport and customers to arrange delivery dates.
  • Deal with any problems the drivers have when delivering and keep customers informed.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week. The hours will be 8.00 am – 4.30 pm.
