Our client based in Audenshaw; Manchester is looking to recruit Machine Operator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role would suit Machine Operators who have worked within a metal rolling production environment, Press Brake or Roll Rolling Machine.

Duties include:

• Measuring and checking material length and thickness
• Operating press machines
• Understanding of engineering drawings (Radius, dimension, angles etc)
• Movement of small and large items either by hand or with the use of 3 & 10 Tonne overhead gantry crane with pendent control (previous experience would be advantageous but not essential)
• Help secure items ready for delivery
• Maintenance and upkeep of workstation and surrounding areas
• Working as part of a team
• Ensure a high standard of accuracy
• Ensuring products are produced in line with customer specifications.
• Counterbalance License preferable.

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday – 8.00am to 4.30pm
• Friday – 8.00am to 1.00pm (maybe required to stay until 3.00pm depending on business needs)
