LAB / PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - Tameside (LTJN)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing company based In Dukinfield, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in production but willingness to learn in the Lab.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct tasks as per specifications and quality standards.
• Perform efficiently to prevent downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including stock take and material handling.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe workplace.
• Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and organised.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand in a stationary position while performing job duties.
• Required to climb stairs to elevated workstations as needed.
• Good hand/eye coordination needed to perform job duties.
• Must be able to lift and manage a weight of 25 kgs, as required.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift arms overhead while performing job duties

Qualifications

• Excellent math’s and English skills for accurate data analysis and calculations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

What else you need to know: 

• Hours 4 x 12.25 hour shifts
• 06:15 – 18:30 Monday – Thursday
• Salary – £12.21 per hour
