HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSISTANT - Tameside (A18110)
Our Tameside manufacturing client require a Health and Safety Assistant to manage all the Health and Safety processes and ensure all records are kept up to date.
The candidate should have a good understanding and experience in an industrial workplace environment and have achieved or be willing to obtain necessary Health and Safety qualifications.

- Safety Tours and Inspections
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Fire Safety Arrangements
- Asbestos Arrangements
- Manual Handling
- Noise at Work
- Working at Height
- First Aid and Welfare Arrangements
- Risk Assessments
- Safe Systems of Work/Work Instructions
- Staff Training
- Work Equipment
- Traffic and Pedestrian Segregation
- Accident and Near Miss Reporting
- Health Surveillance arrangements
- Provide Health and Safety Advice
What else you need to know:
- Full time hours Monday to Friday
- 20 days holidays plus stats
- Salary £28,000 – £35,000
